My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Why put darker cabinets on top and lighter cabinets on bottom?

Don't particularly like that. Is it a trend? And why put 2 different countertops in? It looks a little too busy and disjointed. Would love to hear from a designer.

    Hello, thank you for reaching out. This style is also known as "tuxedo" and it is definitely a trend in some areas of California. It is all about personal style and choice, really. Some people do like to mix up the countertops because some countertops are easier than others to maintain and cook on. Hopefully that answers your questions!
