Remodeling Design Dilemma Kitchens

What to do when 96mm pulls (for replacement) are actually 95mm.

I am trying to replace drawer handles and the measurements don't line up. Can you just drill one hole bigger??? Or painstakingly try to find a different style. We have taken all of our old handles off, thinking it would be an easy job, but now have 'no' handles until we can figure this out. Really appreciate some advice. Thanks

You could but then your pulls will not be spaced properly or will be off center.

You could just gently shave off each hole... 1mm is barely 3/64 of an inch so split that in half and it is a hair over 1/32 on each side. You might be able to take that amount off using sand paper or a thin file. Just be gentle and take your time.

Just be sure that the base of the handle will cover the old handle base area .

Drill both holes 1/64th larger, then they will fit and be centered.
