Tamarind Tree Help!

last modified: 6 years ago

I got a tamarind from my school plant sale and it’s been doing very well. It had been putting out new growth daily. I had to move it home for Christmas break, and it spent about 4 hours in my office while I worked. It was very warm but received little to no light. After 4 hours, the leaves shriveled and wilted and a couple branches fell off. I got it home and placed it under a grow light, but unfortunately the natural light in my house isn’t ideal. I’m hoping to get it back to where it was healthiest, in my sunny dorm window, but I won’t be able to do that for a few more weeks. I’m wondering what I need to do to save my plant. At school I was watering it when the top soil was dry. ive been doing the same here, and I also misted the leaves. I really want to save it because it was a beautiful little plant. I’ve provided pictures of what it looks like now as well as what it looked like last week.
