In most cases you presented, I can see it in a vague resemblance way. I guess if you want what you want, you order grafts.

@dbarron ... Yes, exactly ... Cloning by graft or cutting is the only way to ensure you get that exact same bloom again. I have had so many people tell me how disappointed they were not to get the same bloom from seed. That is the purpose of this post ... To illustrate how rare that is. The DNA of the dominant pink Eve, if you will, is always present and cannot be hybridized out.

Been following this post For a while now, I must say all the blooms vs the proposed are still beautiful. Anyways if Rinoa vs KO, which one do you think the plants are almost the exact Or a little more exact?

Maria Elena I have a question if you don’t mind:).

Do you ever prune back your Adenium roots or just leave them be? I’m only speaking for healthy roots.

That's a great topic all on its own. I DO prune my healthy roots as follows:

- Remove secondary (thin) roots that are exposed, especially towards the top of the caudex. They will burn and atrophy anyway.

- The beauty in the adenium root system lies in the natural entanglement of engorged multiple roots. There is always that ugly, potato-looking, fat, single root. THAT has to go! It is not aesthetically pleasing to look at. These I cut off at the soil line and have been fortunate enough to always get gorgeous radial roots as a result. You can do this with younger plants as shown:
