Looks great! Really like that the island is the reverse of the other cabinets (light counter and dark cabinetry as opposed to lighter cabinetry and darker counters). Also like the enlongated hex tile backsplash.

Excellent. You used drawers, too. You are going to be very happy with how this kitchen works and the huge amount of storage. Pretty, too.

I know people complain about Absolute Black with a glossy finish. They say it's hard to keep clean because you can see the dust. I think it's great for letting you know that you need to wipe down the countertops. I like the choice.

Looks great! Nice to see that someone went with two different cabinet colors and 2 different counter colors. Seems to be a design faux pas on here for some people, but that is what we are doing as well except with a wood stain for the island. I love it!

Agreed @Rower 76. I am in the early stage but I am also doing wood stain for the island and white perimeter cabs. Trying to decide countertops at this point and loved seeing this kitchen. Its gorgeous and I am trying to decide on countertops. I love the dark counters, but am not sure if I want that on a dark(ish) island.

@ salonva we went with a marine black leathered soapstone counters for perimeter white cabinets and a leathered Calacatta Vagli for the wood stained island. Not installed yet but I have pics of our selections.

I will gather the names of items, it’s on my “to do” list. After the remodel was done I didn’t want to think about it :0)

Counters are both quartzite and Island is Hale Navy.

The island has 40 inch walkway on either side. The island itself is 40 in by 100 in. I will update with the tiles and stone names.
