My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

      This paint color was a custom mixed by the homeowner, but I'd say it's very similar to Dunn Edwards 'Droplets'.

      Televisions above fireplaces are way too high to view properly. When you look these things up they recommend the center of the TV screen to be at a level of sitting eye height. I had no idea when I mounted mine. I followed those recommendations and they are correct. Easy viewing with no ......looking up.

      True in most cases, however, when your seating area is a decent distance away - like in this home - a higher tv eye-line is not an issue. Basically, it comes down to the really the scale of the room.
