Hello,

I'm wondering if any of you have experience with Marvin window options and how much they add to the cost. I'm getting Marvin Elevate (formerly Integrity) double hung windows. The dealer quote was somewhat higher than another company on what is about a 28k job, so he reduced the overall price by 1k to meet a little bit on the high side of the middle (longer warranty on installation seemed worth it). I asked the dealer to add colonial grids to just the upper sash on the front ten windows. The top sashes are approximately 26x38. It came back at $162 per window for Grid Between Glass grills. Seems high to me, but I don't really know for sure. Could he just be trying to make up the discount before I asked about grids?

I called Marvin directly and they won't give me any prices as a consumer.

Thanks!
