Dang! That is not very attractive tile, especially with the white fixtures and gray walls. Maybe paint the walls a light and bright but warm color. Same for the bath mat and towels. Get rid of the stack of toilet paper. As appropriate as it might seem on paper, never use feces-colored tile in a bathroom.

Also, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I look at that and go “I could work with that.” I walk into a recently remodeled white and gray bath and think “oh that would have to be gutted before I can move in.”

The walls were painted a khaki color originally. I painted the master a darker grey and felt the ensuite should somewhat match. I painted the bathroom "Intense White" (BM), hated it, and then painted it "Revere Pewter". Still hate it. Daniel: what is a light and bright but warm color? I have tried about 30 different paint chips, all at different times of the day. I also replaced the countertop with a 'concrete grey' laminate, thinking I could pull greys from the tile... Any advise on painting tile??? I would only do this to the 'backsplash' around the tub.

Have the floor and shower wall tile professionally cleaned and sealed. It will look clean and fresh, the best it can look. The paint color you have now complements the tile without drawing attention to itself: it is fine for selling. Add a big blooming orchid when it goes on the market.

The tile and grout is in excellent condition. We wipe dry the shower after every use. Definitely will add an orchid!!!
