Rubb N Buff w stencil

Id like to use Rub N Buff on a VERY large totally flat mirror frame with an intricate stencil I found. There is no way to fully buff out all the tiny small spaces inside the stencil Since there’s no way to really buff out the edges of the openings. If I leave it not really buffed, how long IF EVER till I can handle the mirror to put it up And how long IF EVER till I can not worry about cleaning the mirror and having the solution runs down over the frame and be able to wipe it as I would any other pc of furnitur?

What is the mirror frame made of? I have used RubNBuff on items that I never buffed. If it is a porous material, I would say about a day. If it is metal, I would say a week and proceed with caution.

The mirror is very smooth surface painted with Oil Based paint.

I would turn the frame on its back and paint a small section. Then stencil that section and see how long it takes to dry. I have never applied RNB over oil paint. I have done it on metal and it performs completely different with metal than with most other surfaces I have tried. Metal is the smoothest surface I have tried it on. I tried it with a metal faucet. It did not work at all. I also tried it with a metal table and it worked but it took about 24 hours to dry.
