It’s easier for folks to help if you show pics of the room

Thank you. Did make sense.

Not a pro but I think adding panels to all those windows would make it pretty busy - i’d leave it alone, and see if you can add softness and texture other places

(pretty round rug making sure it would be big enough, something low & textured as a centerpiece on the table and use a textured round tray to ground it, maybe a tall shaggy plant in the corner etc)

Too bad you didn't come here before doing the plantation shutters. I find them claustrophobic and like you are living with bars on your windows. You have pretty views and what looks like a private backyard, but you don't get to fully enjoy the views with the slats /bars in the way.

Yes, you can certainly add stationary curtain panels to add some color/pattern to the space.

Yes, it’s stark. Gray walls are most always stark.

You could certainly add some color and softness to warm up the room. Curtain panels. Artwork instead of a mirror. A rug under the table. A light fixture centered over the table. Placemats on the counter and/or table.

IMO it looks like a model home. I would definitely want more on the windows but looking at the window to the left of the mirror there may not be space for a panel. (I have panels on a similar double window with HD Vignette shades but on the side windows I just have a valance with the vignettes because those windows are narrow that may not work for your full size windows on the mirror wall)

Would you be willing to paint? I would try to bring the brown out of the floor rather than the gray as you have it now.

With some art rather than the mirror you may not need a rug

The room appearance would change if you painted or wallpapered.
