Perhaps there is some interest in more...so here is thread #3.

Here are photos of what happens to trunks/stems if left to grow. This small leaved jade - Crassula ovata 'Crosby's compact' was beheaded in August 2019. Beheaded trunks/stems were left in original pot, and are growing lots of leaves now:

This may not work with all succulents, but works with many.

I left 2 knocked-off leaves in the pot, and they are growing into new plants too:

With encouragement from Bunkfree in 2018 (photos in thread #2), I finally decapitated this Crassula moonglow sometimes in late Aug or Sept 2018...here are 3pieces in Dec. 2018:

Bottom part was left in original pot. It started to branch, and branches continue growing. Here it is today and blooming (photo of blooms posted in Jan. Blooms thread):

Senecio haworthii - synonym; now Caputia tomentosa - anyone know when it was changed?

I knocked few leaves off and stuck them into mix, will see if they root.

Beheaded bunch of very leggy Graptopetalum paraguyense sometimes in Dec. 2019. Finally, I potted up few about 2wks ago:

I watered rootless and quite dehydrated cuttings 2 days ago first time. Checking on them today, I found one is starting to bloom! I am quite surprised, since I never had them blooming , even plants about 3-4 yrs old (can't remember exactly; started them from few leaves I received from Neil :):
