Get a new fan if you need the fan and other than that get a nice chandelier the space is pretty and light so that dark fan has to go.

can you measure how far down what you have hangs? Im guessing about 20-22inches? if possible measure to the bottom of the pull chains.

I can see a variety of things working in here......... wooden beads, classic chandelier, drum shade. simple semi flush............you have a ton of options.

What was your first thought?

I agree with replacing the fan, but your dark, chunky tables flanking the bed need substantial lamps that don't look like they're about to float away.

Those bedside tables are from my old decor . Havent had a chance to replace them yet. I plan to get lighter color and less chunky end tables in the future

Then maybe the lamps you have will be fine.
