Are you going to add an area rug? New Chandelier? Drapes?

IMO I would Pick out area rug, drapes and chandelier first. Then Console and art.

From your choices, you will get a feel for the console and art colors and design.

A buffet cabinet would go nicely there but if you need a console table perhaps then, something that will match colour of chandelier.

Unless you can match the wood exactly, I would do something different so it isn't a close mismatch. A white (the same color as your trim) would look nice there.

You've already got the wood floor finish and the table. You don't need another wood finish. A painted piece would be advisable, but you've really backed yourself in a corner with the strong blue walls. Has to be just the right color.

Thanks everyone, and yes I need storage so would prefer a console/sideboard that has drawers and cabinets.
