Amazing work as always, Joe. Thanks. I don't know anything about TopZero sinks but am intrigued. How can a 33 inch sink fit in a 33 inch cabinet unless the sides are significantly scooped? I Were you able to replace it on site without removing the countertop? You do have some wizardry!

The cabinet sides are significantly scooped, however, they are replaced with the sides of the sink. The sides/bottom of the sink are supported by blocking screwed to the remaining cabinet sides.

The sink was installed without removing the countertop.

Hi do you recommed the Top Zero sink? we ordered it and today the project manager advice againt it , according to him and the fabricator, the epoxy comes off and potentially can fall hecsaid we will have to reseal it every six months

I've installed several TZs over the years; no callbacks. There is no resealing on a proper installation.

The local company (Metropolitan) from whom we are purchasing cabinets for a kitchen remodel would like us to also purchase the stone countertops from them. But they tell me they distrust the TopZero sink, and they won't agree to install it.

In their defense, they say they are trying to protect us from an inferior product.

I would prefer the TZ sink, so I'm looking for a different stone contractor.

I've been to one showroom that had a TZ installation on display and it looked really nice. I'm a a loss to understand why Metropolitan dislikes the product so much.

Properly installed, the TZ is an excellent sink.

Wow. So it IS possible-- that's good news.

I did find a manufacturer who has put in three of the TZs. I guess I will go with them. Would it be reasonable for me to ask if they can offer me some kind of guarantee that if the installation looks sloppy that they will redo it?

"Looks sloppy" is kinda subjective. I'd try "per manufacturer's installation instructions" please. Find some pictures that you agree on.
