Our furnace keeps needing to be manually reset. It shows code 12(ones short and two long) that says something about the blower call for power. When we manually reset it-turn it off via switch, press in the little reset button and then turn the switch back on- the furnace starts, about 30-45 seconds later the fan in that we can see in the front starts then about another 10-15 seconds the pilot lights with light orange flame that turns into bright blue flames. Then we have heat for maybe an hour at max before it starts blowing out cold air because the pilot is not lit. Please please please help. It’s a 13 year old furnace. Should we just replace it? I know 16-20 average lifespan but it’s like 34 degrees out and we have another 3 months of winter 😞 didn’t have any issues the past few months. Started having this issue two Weeks ago.
