Blank canvas! What color scheme would you go with? Would you accent the wall behind? Bed spread ideas?

How tall is the ceiling in there? That headboard screams "give me glamour!" I'd go light, bright with shiny accessories like a plush hotel. Headboard is to die for!!

Wow! Instant room! Of course, this may not be your style. Maybe you could tell us what you like in colors--what else is in your house that you love? I see glamor in the bed you selected, but there are a million different ways to do glamor. I like contrasts with color. Do you?

I would also do a patterned wallpaper maybe? We do need to know your style really as there are going to be many ways to decorate with that headboard, like jen046 said.

I think maybe some turquoise and/or burgundy could go well with that sort of creme color you have going there. Have you thought of any colors that you might like to include?

Thank you all for some great ideas! The ceilings are 10 feet high. I am loving the Hollywood glam idea. I am leaning towards this wall paper as an accent wall. Thoughts?
That's what I was thinking; sort of a tone on tone; keeping the whole room muted. I can't wait to see this when you're done!

Lovely bed, and the wallpaper looks great too. You can add a glamorous chandelier, luxe bed spread and loads of accent pillows in shimmery( maybe sequinned) silvery, burnished gold and copper tones.Mirrored side tables with tall glass lamps - the possibilities are endless here !

I had a bed similar to yours, I added risers to make the bed higher. My headboard was off white, the spread was off white & beige, I used gold satin throw pillows. I had two large metal gold tone tropical leaves hanging above the headboard. The look
was glamour, on the side wall I had a large black & white picture of Marilyn Monroe. Wish I had a photo to show.

Yes I was thinking of black and white pictures of our wedding on one of the walls!! The wallpaper is crystal beaded! It's gorgeous and kinda pricey but I think worth it! Any ideas on what color you would do the rest of the room?

I love Brenda's 1and 10 inspiration rooms. The others are lovely, but somewhat expected.
Nunu, if you are thinking black and white photos, check out Brenda's inspiration room number 10. Very sexy!

    How's it going, nunu?

Here is where I am, different wall paper! Now do I go dark on the night stands? Bedding options? The rest of the room is a light gray, Silver Drop by Behr.

Hi Nunu, this wallpaper looks to have more gold in it than the earlier one, right? You could still go with mirrored night stands( as in Brenda's inspiration pic no.1) or a very dark stain(almost black?) to contrast with the gold.Whatever you choose, bring in the shiny shimmery elements to set the luxe look that this bed deserves.

The first wallpaper had more gold tones. The one on the wall is more silver metallic. I am exactly torn with espresso night stands or go with the mirror theme. Any ideas on beddings

if its more silver on the wallpaper, i would lean more towards the mirrored nightstands. WRT the bedding, what kind of colours do you usually prefer- warm/cool? Check a colour wheel to find good combinations (warm/cool, complimentary/contrast) with the silver. Teal/midnight blue/shimmery olive green/black/deep purple- are some that come to mind.(Any of these could be the accent colour on the bedding)
