I know what you mean. I spend a lot of money on my couches because I keep them for a long time. I fall asleep on my couch in front of the tv and there are wide shallow indentations on the seat of the couch on one side. I put a throw to cover it. I also flip the cushion to balance the wear. I would recommend calling the store to see if they can do anything about it. Document all your problems, including time, day, and problems.

Ever been to an upholstery shop as they "finish" a piece?

The "last" step is getting the cushions into the sewn covers. Sounds easy, right? I mean how hard could it BE? Welllll it's plenty hard enough, and it's a task generally assigned to one guy in that shop. The cushion is wrapped in plastic, vacuum compressed, inserted, and the plastic pulled out. After that, begins the finesse of fluffing, corner stuffing if necessary, then a final shot with steam, a check for loose threads and final exterior vaccuum, and the piece wrapped for delivery. Materials selection, the cushion fill you selected, the firmness of that cushion, the type of wrap, ,,,,whether there is welt or no welt, will all make a difference in any finished upholstered piece.

These are not "creases" , below. They are the minor wrinkling that occurs depending those other factors mentioned above, INCLUDING the person tasked with the "stuff" at the factory. This is minor wrinkling.

If it is going to make you crazy,take the cushions to a local upholstery shop, or call the store where you purchased, and have them send a detail man, whom they will get from the local Century sales rep. You need a bit of fill in the corners. DON'T try it yourself. ........it's a waste of time.

Is there a guarantee you won't ever see a few wrinkles again in the future? No. But by then , the "newness" of payment and recent delivery will have worn off. Life in the house will continue: )

Get a return, or a new sofa out of your head now; this is incredibly minor "detail" adjusting. I say that, w/0 knowing fill, fabric.....etc.as above.

I will add that even "delivering" a sofa is a bit of art. The "seating " of cushions on the piece ...the tweaking. Your truck driver from that store and his companion brought in.....tore away wrapping....plopped the cushions on, and there ya go. Welcome to the 2,000 decade. Next???

I see what you mean ...but , I think with a little wear it will all adjust . Tell them by going personally back to the store that you have a problem with the wrinkles but , let them know that you are willing to wait for a month to see if you are still unhappy then they must come and fix it . Best to follow up in writing to document it ..naming the person you spoke with and the kind of help they will provide by such and such date .
It's always hard after spending a lot of money to see an imperfect ..anything .. , but it's a minor problem and the wrinkles may just disappear ..

There are TOLERANCES in every industry, and every application within. It may seem unfair, but no amount of spend , gets you 100% PERFECT on most anything. Custom or not: )

That wouldn't bother me at all. It's fabric, not a piece of plastic, and it's going to move and crease and show wear. Just enjoy it and stop obsessing :)

I too special ordered an expensive sofa from Century. Junk. Cheapest “down” feathers poked thru the pillows and they wouldn’t replace; the fabric pilled and looks awful. The cushions are sagging after only 2 years. In contrast I had my 80 year old sofa reupholstered and it looks and wears great. Things to consider

IMO a white fabric sofa will have all kinds of wrinkles and creases and marks those will just be lost in no time along with normal wear. I have white leather cowhide sofas and even those after 12 yrs have some stretching.

Many times there will be pieces of quilting batting added as padding to cushion corners before the seat covers are zipped. They stay in place and the purpose is to eliminate the puckers in the cushion corners. Not sure if this might be a solution.
