$119.99 for the pair

• Set of 2 blue glass lamps: each is 27" high overall. Base is 6 3/4" wide. Shade is 12" across the top x 14" across the bottom x 11" high. Each weighs 8 lbs.

Have you looked at Pier1? I've found lamps there for $100 or so that I use in guest bedrooms and most likely there is something similar to that one.

Thank you drdeb1234 . At your suggestion, I found one West Elm lamp I'm going to give some thought to.

How about one of these?

Thank you Jinx.

The lamp will be on our Room & Board Linear charcoal-black maple cabinet, sitting next to this photo my husband took of surfers at Oceanside Beach, framed as shown. The square lamp would probably be too much rectangle.

Everything in the photo is fairly close to scale, with the top of the cabinet being 46" high. So the lamp would be just slightly below eye-level when walking up to it. The smaller, round Reese Lamp you suggested might work and I do like it. (Though it's hard to give up on the Room & Board Grace Lamp). What do you think? Too small?

Target has glass bases and some in blue. Given that they are much cheaper, you may want to look. be warned: there's 9 pages to filter through.

By the way, I've designed the photo frame and have it waiting in a cart, but haven't purchased yet. It's 28" x 32" with a .5" frame thickness in the same brushed silver of the cabinetry hardware. I'm wondering mostly about the frame thickness. Should I go wider? Any comments would be appreciated.

I saw the same one Connie! But then I saw this one by Kichler, and it is similar in shape as well.https://www.overstock.com/Lighting-Ceiling-Fans/Kichler-Lighting-1-light-Light-Blue-Glass-Table-Lamp/10429299/product.html?refccid=QN5KMQWWFRFJFT2ISKIFBSE5DY&searchidx=11&option=15990234&kwds=&rfmt=

this one you could change the shade:

Can't you just enter blue glass table lamp in Google and do a search? You're asking people to do Google searches for you?

@tatts Yes, of course I could. But if you see my question as simply asking others to type a search for me, that seems, well... no offense intended, but a bit of a sourpuss reaction. The point of asking here is to engage in a fun and helpful design discussion. I have an appreciation for the opinions of those who like to offer constructive opinions. Just as I've provided to others in the past.

At your suggestion, I ordered the Ariga lamp and changed out the shade to a simple modern one in a very pale grey. Thanks for the idea! It looks great and I'm using it elsewhere in the house now.

That being said, I just couldn't get the Room and Board lamp out of my mind. So I broke down and spent the extra money on it. I do like it. But as it turned out, I had to return the first one. The lamp post was mounted crooked.

It did get resolved, so I'm happy with it. But I have to mention, I've had quality problems with all of the last three purchases I've made from Room and Board. All three had to be replaced, including a leather chair and a large bookcase. They're great at making it right, but it seems the quality of their products isn't what it had been in the past.

Yes everything made overseas just has poor quality, but what can you expect from some of the cheapest labor and parts from overseas....
