Plumbing Bathrooms

bathroom rough in cost

Hi, I’m relocating my master bathroom on the other side of my wall, over the garage. I got a quote from the contractor of $10,000 just for the plumbing rough in. Is this high? I have the standard toilet, bathtub, shower and dual sink vanity.

Not high enough for all that goes into abandoning plumbing and creating all new.

Could be low, high, or just right. Unless you provide details about what specifically is involved, no one here can possibly say. What you’ve just asked is the same as saying: “Someone offered to sell me a car for $10,000; is this a reasonable price?”

In addition, where you live can have a huge impact on costs for plumbing work. I agree that your best approach is to get multiple bids.
