Jane thank you. It's one of my favorites too.

It's in my GH, hanging fairly close to the roof where it gets lots of diffused light - roof is white Polycarb. You can see how close if you tap on the photo which will bring up the whole photo. It's planted in a tree fern pot with orchiada/spunge rock/charcoal mix. I give it 45 days total drought (Dec 1-Jan 15). This is the second year I've done the 45 days. Before that I did one month each year and never got more than 4-5 inflorescences. Other than that everything else is the same (temps, fertilizer, air movement.).

I suppose the drought being longer may not be the reason for the additional spikes. It may just be because the plant is older. Who knows.
