Help! Need rug decision by tonight!

I’m struggling to find the right size rug for my sofa :(. I’ve picked up and returned all kinds of sizes. Would a 10x14 be best? 8x10 too small? Room is decent size accomodates the sofa. Input please because I need to overnight a rug if possible!
