Need Knobs Help!

Hello! I am completely overwhelmed with the vast variety of knobs and pulls. Let me give some details:
Cabinets are shaker with a little square bead detail
Quartzite delicato countertops
11' walnut island/ toning down the red
Perimeter cabinets will be painted, probably a gray or greige
Waterstone Industrial pulldown faucet in stainless steel (picture is antique pewter)
Very few cabinets with doors, lots of drawers: 24", 30", 34", 48" (under rangetop)
Stainless steel rangetop, hood and refrigerator
Brass will be my accent metal

Knob and Pull asks:
Stainless Steel or SS coloring, but not the generic rolled steel bar pull (been there, done that 3 times already)
Incorporate knurling to play off faucet detail
Where to put knobs or pulls?
How many on a single drawer? Size?

Help!

I prefer pulls. Simple and big should work well. Search for "shaker cabinets" in the box above to see lots of inspiration.

I also prefer a mix of pulls and handles. Use a pencil and try different combos on your kitchen plan ( 1 vs 2 pulls on extra wide drawers etc) and find the right balance for you :)

We have pulls on most drawers and knobs on doors. The only drawers that have two pulls are the 48" drawers under the range top. I chose pulls and knobs with a higher projection so that we would avoid rubbing against the finish. I would try to move the DW to the right of the sink so that it is not an obstacle. That way someone can be loading the DW while you are using that stretch of countertop during prep or while you are cooking.

In my book, greige is not a color. The color of your cabinets should work with your counters. I prefer to pick a color in the counter material for the cabinetry color.
I use knobs everywhere. I like knobs which allow my fingers plenty of space for easy insertion of one or two fingers to pull the drawers...no pinching.

Totally agree that greige is not a color! I think it will be in the greige family though as opposed to cream or white or true gray. I very much like BM Classic Gray, but the exact color will definitely need to pick up from the countertops when we pick the actual slab. My previous kitchen (what was in the house when we bought it, see below) had all knobs but I had many more doors and only 6 drawers (4 very small and 2 36" pot), so I think it was almost a given. In another kitchen we went with bar pulls sized to each drawer. In hindsight that was too busy. In my old age I want simplicity. On the two biggest drawers, I'm honestly not worried about using knobs as I am sure the drawer glides will be industrial enough to ensure smooth operation. I have Googled the bejeezus out of "shaker cabinets" and like someone mentioned above there are no rules, hence my feeling of being overwhelmed. I wish there was a Fairy Knob-Mother!

    Cup pulls. I love them!

Knobs, pulls, or a combo is personal preference. Think of dressing up for an evening out. If you have a simple black dress you count on the jewelry for dressing it up. But if you have a black dress with beading or texture you don't want as much bling.

If you have the plain white shaker cabinets the knobs and pulls are the bling needed since the cabinets have none. But your cabinets have wood texture and I would keep the hardware more on the simple side and let the cabinets shine.

Those cabinets are so long gone! this is my kitchen right now. Blank slate.
