Favorite daylily nurseries

Hubby needs to replace some in his bed. What’s your recommendation For a nursery that has plants outside the usual ones?

I never see any interesting daylilies at the nurseries around here. I noticed a few of the Walmarts in Jax have bagged daylilies in now. Last time I tried getting some pink ones for a yellow & pink rose bed. They turned out to be a orangy yellow with a dark maroon eye and clashed horribly lol.

I have a few day lilies from last year. Don't remember what color they were.

oops. Must have hit “bathrooms” by accident.

Sultry that’s our problem too. No really interesting varieties in the local stores.

Sometimes the Ace nurseries have interesting plants. Some of the veggies and native things are reasonably priced. Other stuff has become outrageous for what it is. Its like they dont realize you can get that stuff cheap online lol. They had the giant blue crown type milkweed for 45.oo and up...thats just stupid!

The daylily auction - (www.daylily.com) has a lot of sellers - check out the ones that have a lot of positive feedback. Check out sellers that are in a similar climate zone as yours. Also Oakes Daylilies send great plants and a sterling reputation. .

There used to be that daylily farm in Green Cove Springs. I’m sure it’s gone now. 😢
