Hollywood Regency

I love Hollywood Regency style and have a dresser and night stand that were originally in one of the first hotels in Las Vegas.

What style, type or kind of furniture would be best to go with these pieces so the room doesn't look thrown together. I really need a lot more storage. The bedroom is 15 x 18, painted dark purple (almost brownish purple) and amethyst. Thank you!
