How tall is the ceiling? How big is the table?

The suggested height is at least 7' above the floor in living room or 8' high if you have higher ceilings or vaulted ceilings. So, depending on your ceiling height would depend on how long you'll want the fixture rod or chain. Sometimes you can buy extensions.

Sorry to be a pest, but I'm still looking for size. The one I want is 39" x 39" with a 6' chain. I'm worried it's to short for a 20' ceiling. thanks again.

Great Room? Pretty feminine for a great room and because the scale is so delicate it will not read very large.

A great room usually includes a dining space so maybe a bit more info. ^6’ is too short for a 20’ ceiling for sure the bottom of the fixture needs to be somewhere in human scale for height to be able to actually light the space where you live.I never like chandeliers in the center of large spaces unless they are huge they do nothing for over all lighting .I agree at least 60”

This is a great room only, the dining area is separate. and 6'3" is the length of the chain. The fixture is 39" wide and long. Hope this helps to clarify.
