when buying the shower enclosures it appears that the words"center drain" appear a lot, referring to the shower pan. well, upon looking more closely before i placed an order- and I'm glad i did- the drain in in center from side to side, but its OFF CENTER back to front. it was 15" from one corner and 18" from the other. that's 3" and that is NOT center. THIS site didn't allow me to look at the exact specifications for the pan, but looking at another site, for the same product, i found that info. when you buy a product that will be retrofitted into an older space, you sometimes cant change the placement of that drain, particularly in a slab concrete floor. It wold be helpful if they made the drain in the center.
