I have some concern about washing it with all the black. I have the color catchers, but wondered if I should rinse it out in the laundry tubs first with the color catchers, so I could drain out the black water quicker and repeat. Any thoughts?

Looks good. It inspires me to find my lotto winner and finish it. I did not always participate, but enjoyed how much I learned when participating. I kind of miss it.

Thank you, everyone. When it's up on the wall, I'll post another pic. I discovered what you all mean about quilting on black, it was hard.

It came out fine from the wash. The color catchers - I used several to be sure - were actually dark pink, not black.
