I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences. I like the idea of an Aerogarden, but not the price haha! I do grow things inside under lights, but more traditionally.

I have one and have used it a few times in the winter and in the middle of the summer to grow lettuce. It works great.

Andrew, mine seems to be working fine (BRIGHT LIGHT!) but yours is a good idea in case the water part fails! Especially ith my (now) small garden!

I got my kid one for Christmas because she didn't want anything (teenagers!).

I can say it's an excellent way to produce excessive amounts of basil.

The other things would probably be doing fine if the two basil plants (it came with Italian and Thai varieties) were harvested more frequently.

I might have to! I've been putting it in everything and still freezing batches of it and I am so basiled out! :)

I make pesto then freeze it in a cupcake tin (sprayed with pam). Then I pull out a puck when I need it.

This is working out great for summer salads! I still buy an occasional romain, but now have all the mesclun mix growing to add to the salad! It's been so hot that I'm sure any in the regular garden wouldn't have made it!
