Another top for the quilting pile

I seem to roll out these tops one after another and they go into a pile till I feel the quilting bug. I don't know what's wrong with me but I just can't seem to get enthused enough to finish them. But, I do love applique and having a hand work project going as I travel or go to my volunteer job

This is another of the Piece O' Cake designs, blocks from her Aunt Millie's garden package. I just love their work and have another of their patterns in mind to start next. I'm sorry I am posting this "unfinished" but I was afraid I'd never get around to quilting it and would forget.

That is exquisite. Don't feel bad about it not being finished. I've known about a lot of people who just don't like going beyond the top. I do hope you get around to it, though - or find someone who can do it for you. Ever since my hands have started giving me so much grief while quilting I cringe when it's time to do it but I do because I have this "thing" about UFO's. The FMQing has diminished greatly because of it. Me and my walking foot or hand quilting or tying are becoming better buddies lately.

Linda you can donate any of your beautiful applique quilts to me. :) I so admire anyone that can do applique as well as you. I have neuropathy in my hands, so my applique really sucks. LOL

Oh, Linda, that is fabulous. Appliqué is not something I do well, if at all, and I am so in awe of your Work.

That is stunning. I love all the colors. I really like doing applique, but don't have the patience right now. Maybe once I am done working.

I've never done any hand appliqué, and i can't imagine how much work it must be. Your top is beautiful, Linda. The colors are wonderful. How large is it?

Linda, it is so beautiful! I like to applique, too. My current handwork project is called Civil War Anniversary so I decided to hand applique and hand piece. I don't like hand piecing as much as applique! But I'm sticking with it.

Linda, I do miss it, and It would be great fun to see you again. Your quilt reminded me of many of the two-color appliquéd quilts I saw there.

Linda, I love your colors on the dark background. Very well done!

I have some large block of applique' that are similar that I still need to put together into a king size quilt. Mine were all machine applique' though. There is no way I would ever have the patience or skill to hand applique' anything, lol.

You always make the most beautiful quilts. I do hope you finish quilting it.
