I'm a greenhorn at working with onions.. Bought some shallots at Lowes the other day, opened the bag up when I got home, and noticed a few have lesions. I'll post pics below.
A) what causes this?? The shallots with this problem also have small bumps, that almost look like warts, rising up in other places. Bacteria? Fungus? Can I treat it?
B) Are these even worth planting? I don't want to introduce something nasty to my plot.
