American Legion quilt finished!!

I made this quilt for my brother's American Legion post for a raffle. He wanted queen size and this measures 98x104. I am excited that the funds they raise will go to help purchase eyeglasses for vets and their families because my DH and I are in the Lions Club in Colorado and my brother's post is working with a Lions Club here in Arizona! Last year they earned almost $2000 from a small (60x72) quilt I made. They are hoping to double that this year! The center is a panel but the rest is pieced. I kept the quilting simple -- fm in the panel, straight lines everywhere else.

Wow, Sue, your quilt is spectacular! And what a good cause it supports. I hope the Legion makes a ton of money in their raffle. How generous of you to donate all your time and fabric.

Every quilt you make is wonderful. So many people will appreciate all your time and talent you donated. What kind of machine do you quilt on? I can't remember what everyone has.

Thanks everyone! Bev, I have a Pfaff 7570 that I use. It is always a challenge pulling a queen or king through this machine, but I have had it for 20 years now and it is a workhorse. I often wish I had a longarm quilting machine, but not sure I could ever justify the expense.
