Yes, if I had a mushroom like that my cat would be on it too. It's the perfect size and height.

I like your mushrooms. I made one out of concrete and used a bowl for the mold for the top and a tall bucket for the mold for the stem. A falling tree broke it though.

Your visiting cat looks something like our late great cat, Woodbaby, king of all our cats. My son found him in the woods just opening his eyes , about ten days old . It was a cold November day and he and his brother were apparently abandoned. We bottle fed them for at least a month. He lived to be very old despite spending a lot of time outdoors. All the cats I've ever known seem to think the outdoors is their Eden. They love it. Mine can't be indoors much due to dogs not liking them.

This is Dijon. She loves to roll in the grass like a dog, and will “help” me dig in the garden...once I start digging, she jumps into the hole and goes after it with gusto, for about 30 seconds. She also protects me from evil squirrels and raccoons. 🥰

We have a visitor often.

Oh wow! Kitties in the garden just happens to be my very favorite subject! This is Marmalade. He’s my little buddy. He showed up one day and never left. He was feral, but after two years he is finally letting us pet him. He’s a very sweet little gentleman, he keeps me company when I’m working in the garden and chases the squirrels away when he feels like it. He loves playing with his little blue toy mouse, lounging around in the garden, catching lizards, and eating Fancy Feast. He’s just a little ray of orange sunshine! He’s sleeping in his bed right now, I call it his tart-shell, because every time he sleeps in it it looks like an orange tart.

I love seeing all your kitties, they’re all so adorable <3 =^..^=!

Sheila and damask rose, at first I thought your two kitties were the same cat, they look so similar! I love the pic of Marmalade sleeping under the dahlias, and am so impressed that you know how to make a kitty face with a typewriter!

I think you are seeing a cistus gearing up to bloom, suncoast. I do have rosemary elsewhere. This photo is last Spring.

Here is a pic I took of my three kitties today, sitting in their window beds on the second floor, with banksia lutea blooming right outside of the window. Sorry that the light is so weird, dark inside/bright outside.

Yes, suncoast, that is a cistus in bud last Spring.

With Grandmother's Hat. She loves to sniff the roses and also munch on a few petals. The first thing she would eat when she came home with me from the shelter was some rose petals she found on the floor. Love seeing all your photos of your lovely cats in your gardens.

Sheila, your garden is so beautiful -- if it were possible, I would also visit it often!

This is my now-departed girl enjoying Sophie's Perpetual. She was @24 years old at this point. I used to take her outside to sit in the sun.
