Thoughts and questions

First and foremost, I hope everyone's well and taking the appropriate steps to stay that way.

We need to replace our kitchen countertops. When we do, we want a good quality, double bowl, drop-in stainless steel sink. Who makes the best sink?

There's nothing so sweet as the swing of a hammer. It's a moment hard to describe, but far more dance than work. My favorites are an old wood handle 13 ounce claw and an ancient six pound sledge. Accuracy is more powerful than weight.

What's a good sealant for Corian? I just scored two twelve foot pieces for dirt cheap. We want to use it for a vanity countertop. I can cut, fit, install, no problem. We want a drop-in sink, so I assume silicone is good for that, but what about the intersection at the counter and backsplash?

Measuring allows you to impose your will on reality. It's difficult for me to think about building anything without my Lufkin in hand. Yes, certainly, I have tape measures, but the fast flick, stroke and mark of a folding rule makes dreams come true.

Where the heck is Sophie? Is there any justice in this world? Bring her back!
