thanks, socks. yes, i'm left with eden and olivia. eden will be 7 in july and **touch wood** she is in excellent health. olivia will be 13 next month and she is 2 years post-diagnosis with heart disease. she is doing well on meds and 13 is almost unheard of for a great dane so i know that every moment with her is truly a gift. she had a follow-up ultrasound with her cardio vet in february and the vet was amazed at how well she is doing so i am very thankful for that!

i'm so sorry for the loss of your kitty. even our quirky pets leave pawprints on our hearts. <3

Much sympathy to you on the loss of your beautiful Destiny. Her black and white coat is striking and more so in such a large, majestic dog. I just read this today and was so surprised. And sad, too. Awful kidney disease!

thank you again, everyone. i brought destiny home today. i need to get a photo printed for her urn. it still seems unreal. destiny was a velcro dog and i was always so used to having her glued to my side. *sigh*

destiny is home and has taken up her place with the rest of my past danes. she was such an awesome dog with a very unique personality so i went with a darker urn this time to set her apart. sure do miss her!!
