It is what it is...

To recap: last year I made a bunch of D9P blocks from scraps. When I laid them out, my daughter said it was hideous. So a friend and I divided them by color and she took a couple groups home. This is the quilt she made with the green blocks. When she was done, she was very unhappy that she put in so much white. She asked me to quilt them in colored thread to perk it up. I bought some rulers and this is my first attempt on the green flower and the straight lines. I think instead of a ruler, I would have been better off drawing on the lines and doing regular sewing for the straight lines. However, in order to get good at it, I will have to make a few mistakes, so this is practice. Another one for Africa. The dark color is green. She will bind it and then I'll wash it
