Hi, I need help designing my oddly designed kitchen layout. I'd say it's a hybrid U-shape with 2 entrances, and one open top wall. The kitchen is located dead center in a gable home so I'm confined between 2 vaulted ceilings on each side which means I'm unable to open up walls. Another challenge I'm facing is the kitchen ceiling is 90 inches (7.5 ft) rather than the standard 8ft.

My idea so far is to eliminate the breakfast bar and keep it all counter height with a 15" overhang from the beam (can't be removed). I need ideas how to optimize my kitchen layout. Ideally, I'd like to remove the 2 cabinets hanging above the dishwasher to open the sight line but if I do, that'll leave the end corner cabinet exposed. What cabinetry can I put in top corner where it would be functional, able to comfortably reach, and not look ackward?
