Master bathroom design

My wife and I are seeking design advice to weight in feasible and good/cost benefit options to consider in our master bathroom remodel. It’s still the original bathroom when the house was built in 1987.

Overall, we will replace and apply floor and wall tiling, remove the existing plastic shower box, install a two-sink vanity, remove soffit, etc.

In our limited knowledge we were to conceive a potential future design plan that touches in the following main five points:

1- Invert Toilet and Shower positions – The idea behind is to create a larger shower area that’s adjacent to the bathtub. I believe the biggest challenge in this area will be the underlying shower plumbing (usually 2”) that might not be compatible to support a toilet drain (3”).

2- Replace Alcove bathtub by a free-standing – Modernize current bathtub.

3- Remove free-standing bathroom sink - It feels like the existing free-standing sink was installed as a space filler; the idea is to purpose its plumbing to feed future two-sink vanity.

4- Remove door/adjacent wall to create a larger flow

5- Install a 2-sink vanity – Re-purpose the plumbing to install a 2-sink vanity. One challenge in this area here is that the total wall length is 65 inches long, which limits some vanity options (most are 70/72”) and may make the design too compact.

However, we are more than open to receive new ideas that we couldn’t conceive that help us improve the flow and allow us to achieve a clean design. Below are some pictures of the existing bathroom.

Thanks in advance to everyone that will read this post.
