drainage problem

okay, we have a drainage issue in our yard. there is a clay pipe that runs from the property next to ours, through our yard and into our pond in the back yard. at least of of the clay tiles are broken, and it's not hard to tell where, you can stand there and look in the puddles, there are about three spots where the water is coming out of. the thing is, the yard is at a hell of a slope and the water flow is constant. I cant even dig up the pipe to tell exactly what the pipe looks like cause the water just pools up so quickly. We already know that we have to install drain pipe to fix other issues, but is there anyway to repair this clay pipe as well? I know there are the rubber clamps to marry pvc to clay, but the clay pipe seems to be angular? it's not round, and I am at a loss at what to do other than tear it all out and install new pvc.
