So weird . My phone is really acting up!

But I was saying ... there is a lot of wild life there ! They need an air traffic controller for all the hummers zipping around ! Lizards abound , hares , and birds I never heard before ! It was a beautiful visit .

They don’t label very many roses here . This label was faded and I think it read amber queen . It looked like it will be stunning when the rain passes!

There’s a few bushes here . And something sooo interesting is the dried up buds , turned black as can be . I’ve never seen this before!! Take a look .

The salvias get so big here. It’s a reality check as I cram plants like I still live in Tennessee!

This arbor has old blush on it . I got some amazing photos last May of it . You can be sure I’ll be back ! Do you see the hedge by the urn ? That is all hermosa !

Celine Forestier was amazing . The roses had not begun to flush yet but what I could see was so beautiful! I can’t believe I never noticed it before .

What a charming place. I'm thrilled you posted Hermosa as I have it coming to plant at the foot of Setina. Did you get Setina or Hermosa? It looks so beautiful by the urn. Setina was perfectly tip hardy in an admittedly warmer winter, but we had some quite cold snaps which are often what causes die-back. You're lucky you don't have to worry about that anymore! :-D CF is ethereal.

Hi vapor !! I didn’t get either yet . I have a list of roses for when I have the space again and it’s on it !! Im glad I can visit It in person . There’s so much more to share when it’s all blooming

I wonder if you caught the name of that pink ground cover plant near the base of the pink tree... it looks like my kind of plant and maybe something I could grow here..

Thank you, Jenna, for these wonderful pictures. Celine Forestiere, Louise Odier and the single white rose are especially lovely. Seeing this garden through your eyes is a very special treat. With all the wonderful rain we're having I imagine a return visit would be spectacular.

What lovely photos! I wonder if the blackened buds you mention might be last year's hips? Some of my roses hold onto them with a similar-looking result.
