Glossy, Serrated Leaves?

This shrub looks like a Japanese Privet, except it has very glossy, ~3" long leaves with finely-serrated edges. I'm sure it's pretty common, but what is it?

    Note that any kind of Privet would have opposite leaves, a key starter point for eliminating a lot of putative ids.
