I like the contrast.

Have you thought of add color to the wall and the window? I can see a blue or gray.

Pretty pots of herbs on the window sill would add to the look. More kitchen accessories would break up the contrast. But as I said, I like it.

I also like it. Wall color is everything here. Also as houssaon notes, accessories, some wood notes maybe to warm up, like a beautiful bowl or some cutting boards.

I Like the kitchen cabinets

i would recommending staining it to black grout and then add black handles and knobs on the cabinets so it would contrast, it would pop off without removing the entire tile set

Have you seen this with the under cabinet lights on? With the floor? Does the white tile match the white trim around the windows?

Yes the white tones are not ideal together but a warm gray grout will help a lot! Staining grout works well. Just make sure you find the perfect hue. GL :)

I would paint the beige walls a light silvery gray hue which goes with the counters. Gray grout may help, as well.

Thank you so much everyone, it was really nice to get such positive and helpful feedback from all of you. Its too late to change my paint color but I will work with all the other feedback. Keep the comments coming and I will post pics once the house is finished, maybe once its not a construction zone it will look better!!

It is never too late to change paint and make sure all your lighting is LEDs in 4000K . I think just leave thr backsplash and wait untill the whole kitchen is done and you have added some color to the space.

I would also do a warm grey grout to tie counters in.

change the wall color like others suggested, add the kitchen accessories, and live with it a while. it might not be noticeable once everything is in place.

You haven't added any jewelry to the kitchen yet. Hardware on the cabinetry, canisters, countertop appliances (minimized, please,) and a plant or two and you'll never notice what seems to be a stark contrast to you now.

What color hardware will be installed? It’s hard to really know how the room will “feel” while it’s a construction zone.

I like it as well. What color is your cabinet hardware? I also like the recommendation to stain it black or gray. What is your quartz? It's beautiful.

Jan moyer - haha as in i already bought all of it and the painter is painting as we speak. I picked SW aesthetic white which is a neutral off white. I dont want to go grey, definitely want a neutral. I think it is reading a little warm in the photos because it was morning in an east facing kitchen.

Felizlady thanks for the suggestion! I agree with you grey probably would look better with this kitchen but its a great room concept and I really wanted a true neutral. The color is SW aesthetic white. Im doing the whole house the same. This is the color with pure white as trim. It is a lot less beige looking here isnt it!?

Patricia Colwell - 4000k? Everything Ive read says 3000? Do your clients like the brighter white? Id love to see photos of how a room changes based on the temperature of the lighting!

I will way in on lighting. I tried 2700k,3000k and 4000k. I ended up with 3000k it’s a warm white light but at night seems a little stark and yes I have dimmers. I also think it matters how many can lights you have.

heidikeith for some reason, it seems like more people are going towards the 4000k now. the more ubiquitous it becomes, the more people get used to looking at it and it becomes the norm. I still prefer something warmer than that.

oreolucca1 I actually find that the cooler the color, the worse it looks when dimmed. to me, it seems to go more and more grey looking. I prefer 3000K for bright lights, and warmer for dimmed.

Just wanted to follow up with pics now that kitchen is finished (except need pendant lights still... what do you think would look best?). I didnt change the grout to grey yet, still considering it. Thoughts?

I think it looks lovely as is (you certainly don't NEED to do anything). It is a lot softer now you have your bits and pieces in there.

In saying that... I'm a big fan of subtle variation to make things feel less 'flat' and be more forgiving for different colours. I have a warm toned white bench top and a true white cupboard and was worried about the clash so went for a grey tile.

I know it's too late to consider a different tile, but if it was me I would go for the grey grout to introduce the texture and make the difference a bit more forgiving.

Is there someone who could do some dodgy photoshopping for you before you dive into making a change?

Julie Zygmontowicz I realize that, which is why I didn't offer any advice. I was hoping the OP was still active because I am considering this same countertop and wondering if it would look ok with my slightly off white cabinets.

Its hard to match all white items, i would use the gray in tje counter top if thetes as grout to change the white.
