Could this be used for a driveway?

I am building a new house and wonder if the grass/paver pattern on the far left could be used for the driveway? Or would the car tires ruin it?

This IS a driveway..... the jumbo cobblestones are 4-6" thick and the cast stone (White portion) is an acid washed surface 2" thick laid on a road bed of well graded crushed concrete 6" thick and set in a dry pack of mortar (Portand and gunite sand)... called a sand set. The cast stone can show tire marks but is power washed a few times a year.
