Can’t you replace it with another tomato plant? I’m not in Florida any longer and never had a place to garden when we did live there but tomatoes are usually warm weather plants that love sun, provided they get enough water.

if you like okra and nematodes aren't an issue, okra grows and produces through the summer

Yep, my tomato season is May-June. Plants can grow OK after that, but you won't get any tomatoes out of it in the south. Tomatoes are warm weather plants, but NOT hot weather plants.
