Name That Plant!Perennials Bulbs

Please help identifying this returning plant

Any idea what this is? I feel like this is the second year in a row it has come up in my garden and not done anything but looked like this. I would have said fritillaria, but all my others have started blooming, but nothing in this. Perhaps just immature? Or some other kind of spring bulb?

Fritillary or Lily. More likely Frit imo. Is it my imagination or is it fasciated? That could explain the tardiness and lack of flowering

This would make sense. Knowing me, I would have likely only planted a fritillaria there. I had to look up fasciation - and that is exactly what this bulb seems to be doing - abnormal growth. And I'm sure it's the second year in a row of this strangeness, not sure if I will be keeping it around...
