Knitsatibia, how did they mount the mirror to create the floating effect?

Hi del102, My husband hung this with aircraft cable that he strung across the back of the mirror and then up through the ceiling joists. He built a frame that supports the cable and secured it to the joists. The wire is so fine that it is difficult to see against the mosaic tile. Only people who are curious enough to think to look closely can see it.
