If you are looking for an interior designer who really listens, will partner with you, and bring you ideas that match your personal style – you will find no better than Jamie Snavley. I had the good fortune of finding Jamie and engaged him after buying a new home to help me decorate our entire family room, 2 living rooms and master bed and baths. I was on a fairly tight budget and had a number of rooms to decorate. No problem, Jamie worked within my parameters and far exceeded my expectations on all fronts. He worked day and night (I got emails from him at 2 am a few times when he was excited about finding the perfect furniture or décor item). His taste is impeccable, and more importantly, he gets to know what your taste is. And he was always on time, quick to respond, and friendly. He also had great ideas….suggestions I would never have come up with on my own, and that I still love.

Jamie supported me this past summer with a very extensive pool remodel project. Many difficulties were encountered with finish selections based on code requirements. Specific code requirements for the pool surface, water line tile, demarcation tiles and decking material were not clear. Jamie remained committed to finding the very best combination of materials despite these difficulties. The end result is nothing short of spectacular. I would have never thought of the unique combination of material, color and texture that, together, created what is a unique, unexpected and differentiated swimming pool.

We couldn't recommend Jamie highly enough. After struggling ourselves with remodel choices we first worked with him when remodeling a kitchen and bathroom. We were looking for paint color, tile and flooring recommendations. It was a long distance project for him, but his involvement was invaluable. His attention to detail saved us many times. He is quick to understand a project and our style without ever visiting the physical location with the help of photos, diagrams and a few phone calls. he always went above and beyond and when we ran into hurdles related to costs or manufacturers he would often do extra research or come up with additional suggestions call outs or watch outs. Late in the project suddenly our contractor said the existing cabinets weren't going to work to refinish and we needed to buy new. I was so concerned as we had planned to paint them and was afraid we would have to start over with decisions, but Jamie to the rescue - he found a cabinet solution that allowed us to keep our overall look and feel. We were so happy working with him that a few months later while struggling with finding paint colors, we went back to Jamie for a second project - this time to help identify paint colors and outfit some rooms with furniture, lamps etc. Again he was quick to understand budget and clearly presented a few options for each room. Always it was easy to follow and purchase. Most recently, we needed help with a baby's room (paint colors, floor covering, curtain fabric) and carpeting choices and paint for rest of house. Again, Jamie was quick, organized and wonderful to work with.

Jamie of InterDesign did an amazing job when we bought our house. It was daunting to try and conceive of what we wanted to do over such a large space however Jamie quickly and efficiently helped us to turn our general desires into a plan of action. We relied on him for space plans, design development and construction drawings while taking on the contractor coordination ourselves. This allowed us to maximize our use of his time, keeping him focused where we really needed him - visuals/design of the finished project - rather than on construction administration. He was particularly helpful in finish selections, narrowing down a near infinite number of color, fabric and wallpaper choices to a palette of options that really suited our existing furnishings. We worked with Jamie in a similar capacity on a smaller project refurbishing our master bath where he brought some great design solutions to a potentially awkward space. We have since recommended Jamie to 3 different friends and colleagues, all of whom have also had nothing but positive feedback in working with him. Truly he is a professional in every regard.

Jamie and I have worked on many projects together - from simple interior repainting through to full bath and kitchen remodels. Throughout the process we have not only become collaborators, but also friends. I have referred him to other clients and we have worked together with the same group of contractors. Jamie is meticulous and thoughtful, something that I have not always found in creative people. His innate good taste and design training are complimented by his organizational skills, practical common sense and a tremendous attention to detail. I find working with him not only to be fun, but also an education as he brings a wealth of practical experience. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants a very focused and hard-working design and project management partner. In particular, people who have very high demands for organization and project management and require their collaborators to be detail oriented will appreciate the focus that Jamie brings to the job.

We hired Jamie as our designer for a new custom build of a 4800 sq ft, 3 story house including a basement. Jamie started before the floor plans were finalized, and took it to after move in. He was responsible for putting together an extraordinarily well designed house, optimizing some areas of the floor plan and external hardscape all the way through to designing the cabinets, built-ins, furniture location / placement, and just about everything in between. Jamie was involved in most every decision about the house. His creativity, combined with excellent illustration skills (he churned out several hundred diagrams illustrating multiple design options for every major decision), incredible design aesthetic, and extreme attention to detail, together added tremendous value to our home. Everything fits together amazingly well, and there are so many great touches. Very highly recommended.

We hired Jaime to update our upstairs living quarters. Jaime is much more than an interior designer; he is knowledgeable of architecture and well versed in construction. He listens to our needs and is considerate of our lifestyle and budget. I'm most impressed with Jaime's thoroughness, responsiveness and attention to details; for example, he would point out the projections of drawer handles to make sure I don't pick out something based purely on looks. He is easy to work with and always made us feel that we are his #1 priority, even though he has many other competing priorities.

1. Jamie provided interior design for a remodel of a bathroom. This remodel was down to the studs, and involved installation of a skylight and spa-like facilities. Jamie drew up floor plans, picked colors, and helped choose furnishings for the n=bathroom remodel. 2. Jamie is wonderful to work with, full of ideas and his attention to detail and execution is thorough. 3. I was impressed by his friendly and professional outlook to things. He was always open to our ideas and guided us on how we can incorporate them into the bathroom remodel and budget. 4. What I like about Jamie is his creative thinking and price consciousness without compromising quality.

We hired Interdesign Studio to design the interior of our lakefront home, and work in conjunction with the architect, GC, and subcontractors (cabinet maker) to create a warm interior, and a flow within the house. Interdesign assisted with all design features of the home, from design of the stone fireplaces, to stone flooring, selection of all plumbing and lighting fixtures, and overall decorating concepts. They were a delight to work with. Worth noting is that we live on opposite coasts. We were able to have a few meetings with Interdesign, some on site, some at the Interdesign offices, and all work was completed via fax, email and phone. We have continued to utilize Interdesign's services since completion of our custom home in 2005.

Working with Jamie made my home building experience an exciting time rather than a stressful one. I was able to enjoy and delight in the process rather than worrying that I may not remember each detail that would be needed later. Jamie thought of everything from color schemes that suited my tastes to outlet placement and floor layout that would be most beneficial to my husband's needs for accessibility. Jamie covered all the bases including allowing for future possibilities like Christmas decoration placement or extra fabric for unique pieces that might be discontinued - All things I would never have considered until the time came and it was too late. I didn't have to worry that those things would be overlooked when working with Jamie because his attention to detail put me at ease. His experience and style assured me I would be satisfied with the outcome and I always was!!
