I have been sewing face masks the past few weeks and now I'm at a halt. I broke a needle the other night, changed my needle (I believe it's inserted correctly, flat side back) and now it's not stitching more then a regular double layer. When I try to do the pleats or double seams the needle goes up and down but doesn't pick up the bobbin thread. I've tried to lower the needle a little bit and that seemed to help for a few stitches but then it goes back to not stitching. I've rethread it, changed threads, changed bobbins, took out the bobbin holder and realigned it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
