IMO the whole point of having real stone is that if it is polished it needs nothing for a sealer ever. Why take a no hassle material and add a hassle makes no sense to me.

Cannot comment on leathered white granite, but leathered Taj Mahal Quartzite (white-beige-gray veining) is *fabulous*.

What are your concerns?

You can find lots of longevity reviews of White Ice if you search the Houzz forum archives. It's not the best, not the worst. You can search for "white ice granite rust," "white ice granite stain," and "white ice granite green spots" to see a few of the various problems. Honed or leathered granite increases the surface area that is exposed to potential moisture (that activates the rust or green spots due to chemical interactions) or other staining agents, so that's why the previous contributor suggested sticking with polished granite. However, I might add that many types of granite even if polished benefit from sealant. The most dense of granites do not require it, but white ice is not one of those.
