I was wondering the same thing. If it is his own home or apartment, surely it is not the best he has at his disposal. No one even bothered to tidy up and stage the counters it would appear.

He addressed that a few weeks ago when he first came out of quarantine. If i recall this is the kitchen at his office.

Did anyone see the video of the senator making a tuna melt? I must read this forum too much because the first thing I noticed was an OTR microwave instead of a real hood. :)

@chicagoans Yes, saw U.S. Senator Mark Warner's tuna melt. I believe that was an apartment. Look at the sink with small faucet and what appears to be a miniature dishwasher. Comments on social media about that ranged widely, but I agree with those who said his point was for comic effect. Most apartments and many condos aren't built for ducted ventilation in cooking areas.

I would assume that is a "kitchenette" in Senator Warner's office in the Hart Senate Office Building. He lives in Old Town Alexandria (VA) and I'm also going to assume in that area that his family kitchen does not have an OTR microwave, lol.
