I really like the darkest color, especially with your trim and bedding. It would definitely darken your room but would give it a cozy feel. What are you hoping the room feels like after it's painted?

Is this the bedding you will be using? That's not really the way to test colors. Personally I would match the carpet

I also like the darkest color. I'd also think about a new type of window treatment, as what you have looks skimpy and maybe not substantial enough. Maybe go tailored and just do plantation shutters or roman shades? I would also hang the photos on the left side as we're looking at the bed one right on top of the other, not off center like you have. Maybe too, lumbar pillows for the two chairs that pull in the red a bit?

Thanks for the comments! I am kind of thinking just go for the darkest color too. As for the pictures and curtains, I just stuck the frames up on nails that were there from the previous owners, and the curtains were there too. I am definitely planning on switching them out and also adding decor that is intentional not just scrapped together!

Jck, it is our bedding but I am more trying to match the bed frame I guess. Good call on looking at the carpet. I think that creamy color would make our carpet look dirty. I think the grays go best with the carpet.

I usually choose bedding first then a color from it for the paint so in your case I would do white for the walls and the drspes eed to be at least twice the width they are. The lighting LEDs 4000K so you can actually use the lights for reading , Edison bulbs cast a yellow hue on everything get proper lighting before choosing colors . I usually love gray bedrooms but in this case with that bedding no.

Here’s a really nice color combination and some great accessorizing. It would feel coordinated Re darkness of the maple trim. Not too light and not too dark.
